The desert does have some interesting plants. We took a vacation once to Alpine and Balmorhea. I was so amazed to see unusual plants that I'd never seen before. At Sul Ross University in Alpine there is a cactus garden with many different varieties. It's in front of the museum.
Well I will have to make a note of that, as I would love to see it. Cactus are so unusual! There are just so many varieties.
Where do you live (the south?) that agave is growing?! ♥
Okay, I see on your profile that you're in Texas!!! We drove through TX last summer (my first time there, ever), on the way to Grand Canyon!
